We offer a unique way for libraries to assess the quality of our stock, servicing and marc records. Simply select £150 worth of books from our stocklists and provide us with your servicing specifications.
We will service and deliver your chosen titles, completely free of charge. A great opportunity to evaluate Books Asia, and receive some new stock at the same time.
The books do not need to be returned to Books Asia. They are for your library to keep, and your readers to enjoy.
How it works
This offer is open to Public Libraries in UK, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. All we ask is that the initial request is from the Stock Manager, Senior Librarian, or your Community Languages Librarian.
Select £150 of books from our on-line stocklists. You can select titles from any languages (mix and match is welcomed). We request that you select from stock upto 2008, and that each title has a maximum value of £10. You can also include titles (subject to availability) from the popular Urdu Digests.
Alternatively, if you prefer the supplier-selection route, just provide us with your required languages and a brief profile. We'll put together a small selection for you, and send you the list for review (it'll give you chance to review our approval process too).
Provide us with a sample book, and some servicing material (date label, rfid tags, barcodes) and details for the 3 lines of your spine labels. Let us know if you require UKMarc or Marc21.
Everything is completely free of charge - the books, servicing, dust jackets, marc records - even delivery is free.
